Giving for the

Private generosity makes a critical difference, enabling The Jewish Senior Life Foundation to sustain the community and serve our mission. Your investment allows Jewish Senior Life to seek innovative options, helping people age meaningfully and with dignity. See the impact of your gift for yourself by clicking here. Please join us to support the work of the Foundation.

Now, more than ever, we need your help in order to continue to care for all those in our community.

The needs of those we serve threaten to outpace our resources. Many seniors are living longer and longer and, through no fault of their own, their financial resources just aren’t enough to see them through. We are innovating every step of the way to ensure quality of life for seniors and peace of mind for their families—all while maintaining a commitment to choice, dignity, compassion, and meaning. Today marks a new chapter in the history of Jewish Senior Life. Together, let’s turn the page… With your help, our residents can live longer and live better.

We invite you to join us in supporting these critical areas:

  • Annual Giving
    • Platinum Circle
    • Golden Alliance
    • Friends of the Foundation
  • Planned Giving
  • Tribute Giving
  • Corporate Giving

Annual Giving: This is your year

This is our year. Together with your support, our annual campaign gives us what we need to keep our existing programs going—and to develop new ones. These are the programs that make all the difference every single day: right here, right now. Jewish education, recreational and cultural art therapies and many others are possible because of your generous annual gift.

Donors who invest in our annual campaign will become members of one of our giving societies.

Platinum Circle: Top-tier annual donors who contribute $1,500 or more each year
Golden Alliance: A collection of leaders who contribute $500 or more each year
Friends of the Foundation: Donors who contribute up to $499 each year

Experience extraordinary rewards.

All donors at the leadership level of $500 or more are:

  • Invited to participate in special, cultural and educational events throughout the year
  • Highlighted in our Annual Report which is distributed to our community
  • Recognized on the donor wall at the Jewish Home, and during various Foundation events throughout the year
  • Invited to our annual donor recognition event

Planned Giving: This is Legacy

Every day you bring your best to life. What will you leave behind? Your legacy is expressed in the experiences, beliefs and connections you forge today. Make an even greater impact on your legacy by creating a planned gift that will benefit generations to come.

Why you should consider a planned gift.

It’s a way to extend your support to the Jewish Senior Life Foundation beyond your lifetime. Planned giving makes the most of the tax benefits of your charitable giving. At the same time, it lets you make a meaningful gift that will have real impact on our community.

Where to begin and how we can help.

Start creating tomorrow’s legacy today. Maybe you’re doing estate planning. Maybe you’re considering what causes mean the most to you. Maybe you’re considering uses for your IRA distribution. Wherever you are, there are many options today that can create the legacies of tomorrow. Consider your existing investments in legacy planning:
• Bequest/Will
• Individual Retirement Account
• Life Insurance
• Appreciated Stocks
• Transfer of Entrance Fee
We will work with your financial, personal estate and/or tax advisers concerning specific charitable planning and arrangements.

Tribute Giving: This is honor

There are many milestones in life. A donation can make those milestones even more memorable. It is a gift that pays tribute to someone in a truly meaningful way.

Commemorate special occasions like birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings and anniversaries with your tribute gift. We’ll send an acknowledgment to your honoree or honoree’s family to notify them of your thoughtful gift.

Keep a loved one’s memory alive with a digital memorial yahrzeit plaque. Each digital plaque will preserve you loved one’s name and date of passing in our beautiful Joseph E. Silverstein Memorial Court located in the Jewish Home Farash Tower.
